Unforgettable #2014, Why? Because..!

What a year it was, phew! So many achievements, to a greater India, is truly a magnificent feeling come to think of it. And it’s ours to own and cherish. A quick rewind to make you feel as proud as peacocks today.

Here are 5 reasons why 2014 should be bookmarked in your memories now:

Metro Magic!
Mumbai standards of living of the common man have improved immensely since 7th February 2014.Thanks, to a rescue operation in the form of Mumbai Metro Rail. Citizens are now humanly able to cross one sea of population to another quite decently, if you must.

It’s basic psychology of the man:when he lives well, feels respected and dignified by the external environment around; it boosts the subconscious winner in him more often than otherwise. Traffic and crowd being one of the most core problems in the city and the disastrous mental-emotional hazards that follow suit; Mumbai metro is definitely a step towards prosperity, for all in a democratic India.

The $74 million cost for the mission was less than the budget for the film Gravity which cost $100 million to make.

Youth Empowered
Last year, when Vasanti, a 21 year old from Gujarat, decided to make her life a better mirage, she took computer classes miles from her village. After the course completion; she managed to start computer services in her one room home.

Wonders in Gujarat, in terms of architecture and prosperity were greater pillars of confidence for a tentative India while making a selection this year. Change needs courage and faith. It came with Jan Dhan Yojana for greater empowerment of a progressing India as starters from Modi’s platter.

Rise of digital India
All year 2014, all I ever heard in trending news was how brands were leveraging on Indian digital market. Statistics say that India will soon be the next big digital market in the world. The extensive penetration of internet in India, especially in rural India, has helped the overall development and growth of our country.

Internet literacy has driven India in speeded mode of overall growth. Brands like Idea with campaigns like “I am IIN” and Panasonic with “Jab digital banega India tabhi toh badega India” clearly signify the drastic improvement in Indian culture and lifestyle since internet became more accessible in our country.
The opportunities internet presents to one are very precious and India is making the best of it.

Oh! What a bundle of achievements last year was. Aren't you a proud Indian or what? Give it up for 2014!!

PS: Achieving something you work hard for is the best feeling in the world. Stay Strong, Play on.
