If
we, as a generation don’t speak up for our liberty, who will?
The audacity of racists, the audacity of conservatives,
the audacity of the Government and the guts of uptight patriarchy around the
globe that’s let us to inherit the shamefulness of biasness against true
liberty and freedom of speech. Why then should modern mindset brands not stand
up for its people in the face of a democratic crisis rooted deep within system
s to out maneuver dissent of any kind?
We claim our right to speak up
against atrocities that threaten our very premise of living decently. Think
about it. As a brand United Colours of Benetton has always provoked the society
to read between lines and has made a resilient effort to encourage progressive and
non-bias perception. Truly, its fashion is classic and made for the discernible
eye that relies on a good heart behind its every cardigan. The palette of
colours that dominate their fashion has always demanded to feel liberated
soaked in timeless freedom of style.
The brand has always been at
the forefront of progressive thinking through its provocative advertisements .It
has truly not been about marketing a vintage brand but about reaching
milestones to break taboos of all kind. Whether it’s about speaking up against
racial discrimination or against the manipulative powerful, United Colours of
Benetton has left shadows of ideals promiscuous enough to make a difference
among its buyers.
Their recent campaign on #UnitedByHarmony breaks religious barriers and promotes inter-racial integration
through this beautiful video to commemorate the true meaning of Independence Day.

One in diversity |
The above picture of the controversial
ad ‘The Angel & Devil’ would be a topic of debate for many. But if you pay
more attention to the provocation, it substantiates the inherent superiority of
White over Black. SO what does it make you think? About racism? No. In fact, it
portrays a picture of the fallen legitimacy of life for the Black yet this
picture thrives of Unison in a prevalent situation.
What is brand philosophy if it
doesn’t make heads turn?

One Love, three colours |
This one’s definitely for the fridge. Got your eyeballs rolling in shock? Well, if it doesn’t provoke you to think “Straight” in the sense of liberation from sexuality and interracial adoption then what will? The point behind this theatrical is to get you to think about peace and acceptance. The love for human and it doesn’t matter whether you’re black or white.
United Colours of Benetton
is a veteran brand with over 900 stores in India alone. All of its adverts have
been about promoting unity in the face of disparity. It’s has strived to bring about equality of every type
and continues to lure consumers with its impeccable way of style to commemorate
Unison and beauty every mile.
Today brands stand for what
they believe in and this brand has always been loyal to what makes you put on
that thinking cap.
It’s tasteful colour combinations and soft
spoken yet bold fashion has always been the benchmark of sophistication and
global admiration. Simple yet vibrant is the personality of its consumers and
UCB has always painted its rainbow of fashion faithfully. It has provoked mindfulness
in its audience and influenced them to think forward not backward. It has
crafted its positioning beautifully across geographies considering sentiments
of an idealistic and cosmopolitan society.
