In the Lives of Mr. & Mrs. Saxena Sequel to ‘The Love Game’ Season 3 Episode: 9

There is no greater good to mankind than some love from the enemy in mankind,

Opposites attract the fiercest universe to glide on their latter,

Burning in an ocean of desire,

If only we risk ourselves for true love will we know the power of the higher!

“Lol,” Prantik laughed lightly and went over to his wife and gently held her in his arms. Now securely safe under their quilt, he kissed her forehead and smiled down on her inquisitive face. He knew one thing now – He loved his wife and his wife was the one holding on to them both. She somehow knew the repercussions of them not spending time with each other almost instinctively. She blew her top like a child in tantrums and here he was, wanting forever to be in her arms more than ever. No wonder she was a quaint writer, she was instinctive and pure at heart.

Jahnvi cuddled and cushioned against Prantik in bed. Oh! How she had missed this time with him for so long! She nuzzled him in his chest and put her leg on top of his.

Jahn, let me dedicate a cheesy but a very true song for you so you know I am never far away.

Prantik reached for the remote and switched the stereo to this track and they both lived light years in that while.

It was around 11 pm, they both showered together, got dressed in simple home clothes and headed together towards the living room. Prantik called Neetu and she came almost instantly out of her room.

Jahnvi and Prantik settled next to each other at the dining table and asked Neetu to serve dinner. She smiled brightly and they both burst out laughing. The three of them knew that minute that there was nothing in the Saxena household that could dim the light in the room for too long anyway.

As Neetu served them yummy regular dinner of roti and vegetables, they relished every bite and then over an ‘After eight’ serving from Neetu to satiate themselves with an after dinner taste, Jahnvi initiated an impending conversation with her husband while chilling on the couch with him in the living room.

Boo, let’s confront each other about me.

Brushing his hand with hers, Prantik said, “Yes Jahn, let’s talk.”

I have completely understood why I was acting weird lately. It was because I didn’t like how we were headed as man and wife a few weeks ago when you were completely entranced with your professional life. I felt alone. Then when you brought up the stability issue, I caved into a shell of my old self without you again. I talked to Dr. Tripti yesterday before you came in, she says I need to face the regularity of marriage head on. I was smoking, like you know, but I am fine now.

What made you think I loved you any less just because I was working late hours recently? He reached over to cover Jahn in his arms again.

Babe, life is like that. I will be busy again, maybe we won’t have intimate dates for weeks but you’re always on my mind. I am not going anywhere. Also, I know now there’s no other woman like you in the world for me.

I wuv you boo. I am sorry I was a brat. But I get very insecured about us when we aren’t upto something together. Sorry about that, I am more of a laidback writer. I have a lot of free time. But now I know that I have to write books so I am going to be busy all year round.

Then brushing her hair playfully and holding his wife by her neck in a fold they looked at each other and he innocently asked, “So babe, when are you fleeing to the US without me?”

They both smirked at that and then resting her head on his lap she said, so I figured, that trip is impending Sid. Next time you worry me and ignore me, I swear I have visa, I will fly!

He bent down to kiss his mad wife on her cheeks and them picked her up again and took her to their haven. A place so sacred, so loving, the vibes of cherished marital intimacy spoke to you, he placed her on the bed and laid down next to her.

“I was really scared the shock would affect you and so I tried to be there for you.” Prantik said playing with Jahn’s hair.

“I know now that it wasn’t pity.” Jahnvi said nestling next to her husband.

“Oh Jahn, how can my love for you ever be pity? I was so worried! You know that night at dinner, I couldn’t get my eyes off you. I wanted to take you right there but I didn’t want to invade your privacy state of mind so I held back.” Prantik said the truth at last.

“Honestly, I didn’t know what took over me after our argument that day. I was caved in and thank you for maintaining our dignity. I just have to accept our second level of marital life Prantik. Regularity sets the tone of infinity, I know now.” Jahnvi said deeply.

Prantik took his Jahn’s hand in his and said, “You introspected your situation, didn’t you? I am sorry about underestimating you babe. You’re fine now and I couldn’t be a happier partner.” “Oh and ya one more thing, we are going somewhere between mountains and rivers this year on holiday!” Prantik smiled lavishly and Jahnvi jumped out of bed with joy!

“Inci wincy spider, there goes my Tiger…” Jahnvi sang softly hitting boo with a pillow.

“hahaha… yea babe, now your tiger is warming up again!” Prantik joked and wrapped himself in his wife wishing that minute that only death do them apart.

Let’s surprise Sim tomorrow at her workshop after work for dinner?

You’re on babe. Also watch out for the mail tomorrow. Now come here.
